Heather Knight Upset - And Rightly So.
Women's T20 World Cup: Heather Knight reflects on England's exit.
By Amy Lofthouse
BBC Sport at Sydney Cricket Ground.
Heather Knight hopes a change in the rules will prevent other teams enduring a "horrible" tournament exit after England were eliminated from the T20 World Cup without a ball being bowled in their rained-off semi-final against India.
With no reserve day scheduled, India progressed to Sunday's final by virtue of a better record in the group stages, having topped Group A.
"I don't want any other team to go out in this fashion," said England captain Knight, whose side were runners-up in Group B.
"It is what was signed up to, to not have reserve days, but hopefully that will change.
"We've been bridesmaids before but to lose out to rain is a new feeling."
FlyBe Catastrophe Was Wholly Predictable
Never have I met a bigger administrative shambles than the crew who ran the regional airline which died yesterday. FlyBe had super planes, excellent staff, great prices and flew from my nearest airport.
However, the organisation and backroom staff were wretched.
I must have flown 60+ times with Jet2 without a problem.
FlyBe gave me more problems (TEN!?) over three return flights than five dozen with the ultra professional Jet2.
(You, know. Little things such as cancelling flights without telling me. Bumping me off a flight that was half empty and so much more, besides.)
It took three weeks to get to someone in authority to register these complaints AND a shaming on Facebook by Mrs Blogger

Indoctrination of Youngsters.
When education slips into indoctrination, parents have a right to be concerned
School pupils in Primary 1 are aged between four and five, so reading to them requires careful selection of material. The P1 pupils at Glencoats Primary in Paisley were recently treated to a story time with a sexually explicit drag queen with the stage name of Flowjob.
Pleading Her Belly.
A woman likely to be sentenced to death, in the seventeenth century and beyond would often claim to be pregnant ie) 'to plead her belly' to escape execution.
That age is considered as barbaric by the snowflakes of today for exercising the death penalty.
Indeed, 'pleading their bellies' was the response of those infamous women pirates, Mary Read and Anne Bonny.
Odd, isn't it? So many of those self-same, holier-than-thou snowflakes would today support ripping living children out of the womb thereby killing them.
So which era was the more civilised, ours or theirs?
Putin To Give The People A Say On Marriage.
Putin wants God and heterosexual marriage written into the Russian constitution.
Staff writer. Christian Today. Tue 3 Mar 2020 13:57 GMT
Russian President Vladimir Putin (2nd R), his Moldovan counterpart Igor Dodon (2nd L) and Patriarch John X Yazigi (R), Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, attend an event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of Patriarch Kirill (C), head of the Russian Orthodox Church, at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia January 31, 2019.Reuters
The proposals from Putin, who is now in his fourth term, would effectively ban same-sex marriage. His proposed draft amendment to the constitution would also mention Russians' "faith in God" and proscribe giving away Russian territory to foreign powers. The clause on territory threatens to escalate tensions with Ukraine over the Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014. Duma vice-speaker Pyotr Tolstoy spoke positively of the proposals on marriage in comments to reporters on Monday. "For me, the most important proposal would fix the status of marriage as a union between a man and a woman," he said, according to the Bible."And I am happy that this amendment has appeared under the signature of the head of state."The proposals are to be voted on by the public. If the changes are approved, it will be the first time since 1993 that Russia has changed its constitution. The country is officially secular but Putin is close to the Russian Orthodox Church.
Abortion Extremes in Northern Ireland.
Pro-life campaign group Right to Life has announced plans to take the government to court ahead of extreme abortion laws set to be introduced in Northern Ireland ahead of 31 March.
Acting unlawfully
The organisation this week sent a pre-action notice to the Northern Ireland Secretary, Brandon Lewis, warning that if the government introduces abortion framework that surpasses what is legally required, then the pro-life group will be taking legal action.
The notice says that if the government proceeds to implement its current proposed framework, it will be acting unlawfully and be susceptible to judicial review.
What is legally required?
The 2019 Northern Ireland Act states that the Government may introduce a limited abortion framework in Northern Ireland ahead of the 31 March deadline. However, the passing of this legislation was itself controversial, as the amendments to introduce abortion and same-sex marriage were added on to the initial scope of the bill to help keep Northern Ireland running in the absence of a devolved government.
Ahead of the deadline, the government launched a consultation on a proposed abortion framework, which goes far beyond the limited changes the government must now comply with. If the proposed framework is implemented, it could have far-reaching consequences to rights of conscience, safeguards for the unborn child, the right to protest abortion and even late term abortion.
Abortion on demand
The proposed framework opens up abortion provision to any healthcare professional, including pharmacists, nurses, midwives, healthcare assistants, art therapists and dieticians, says Right to Life. It also drops the requirement that two doctors must sign off on an abortion.
The proposal includes virtually no legal limit on the locations that abortion could take place, which potentially allows for the home use of both abortion pills and other medical procedures.
In practice, terminations would be available on demand up to either 22 or 24 weeks under mental health grounds. Abortion without certification could be available up to either 12 or 14 weeks, allowing sex-selective abortions to take place. Abortions for disabilities, including Down’s syndrome, cleft lip and club foot, would also all be allowed, available up to birth.
Northern Irish people don’t want extreme abortion imposed
However, a poll organised by the University of Liverpool and Britain’s Economic and Social Research Council has shown that 58% of Sinn Féin voters and some 54% of DUP voters want their country’s new abortion framework to only allow a terminations when the mother’s life is at risk.
Only 5% of all voters support introducing abortion through the first 24 weeks of pregnancy, as outlined in the proposed framework.
Devolution must be respected
Catherine Robinson, spokesperson for Right to Life UK, commented: “The UK Government has proposed introducing an extreme abortion framework to Northern Ireland, which goes far beyond what it is legally required to introduce.
“With Stormont restored, it is vital that the people of Northern Ireland have a say on their country’s new abortion framework through their elected representatives in the Northern Ireland Assembly. It is therefore only appropriate that the Government introduce only the minimum that is legally required to comply with the Act, and leave any other changes to the law to the Northern Ireland Assembly.
“If the UK Government pushes ahead with their extreme abortion framework proposals, they would be acting unlawfully and would be undermining the devolution settlement at a time when it is already fragile.
“If the UK Government pushes ahead with their extreme abortion framework proposals, they would be acting unlawfully and would be undermining the devolution settlement at a time when it is already fragile.
“To stand up for the devolution settlement; to show that they are listening to the voters of Northern Ireland; to be consistent with their party’s own position; and ultimately, to protect the unborn child and women facing unplanned pregnancies, we urge the Government to drop their proposed extreme abortion framework for Northern Ireland, and only implement what that they are legally bound to do.”

ANY Normal Person Should Be Revolted By The Left.
Deciding to have children in the First World supports slavery, according to a BBC Three segment pushed on social media.
In a segment for the ‘Blindboy Undestroys the World’ programme on BBC Three, the publicly-funded broadcaster’s youth-oriented channel, the eponymous “Blindboy” tells the viewer: “You think slavery is a thing of the past, but you own slaves”. https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/02/24/bbc-starting-a-family-first-world-supports-slavery/
Unenlightened French Self-Interest?
The former International Trade Secretary Liam Fox told Sky News that the European Union has a £66billion trade surplus with Britain but France only makes up £2.7billion of that. Mr Fox compared this to Germany who makes up £23billion and Spain who account for £14billion. His comments suggest the real reason France is not as willing to make concessions in order to secure a free trade agreement with the UK compared to their European counterparts.

True or False?
Which of following are true or false?
* Aboriginals have been in Australia 40,000 years or more.
* Wearing a face mask is useful in preventing Corona virus.
* The Big Bang is scientifically accurate.
* God made only one race of man.
* In today’s world you can be anything you want to be!
* The Aboriginal ‘Welcome to Country’ smoking ceremony is a harmless cultural event.
* Genesis presupposes the existence of God.
They are all false, no matter how popular they are with scientists and the general public, Christian or non-Christian. Some are even too politically incorrect to mention, as the violence that erupted shows when the West Australian RSL tried to raise a motion wanting the Aboriginal ‘Welcome’ smoking ceremony removed from Anzac Day ceremonies. This is a move we would agree with, and this author would go even further, as all immigrants are forced to accept a ‘Welcome’ ceremony as part of their ‘nationalisation’ when they become citizens. Why object? Because the ceremony is not just cultural, but totally pagan, as well as demonic, and it locks Australian futures into the same Satanic delusion that took Aboriginals down into the stone-age, when they moved first to India and then to Australia. But of course, none of that can be mentioned in our politically correct culture that prefers myth to real history.
Yes, you can find answers to many of these issues on our QnA website, including the most recent one about whether Genesis presupposes the existence of God.
