Christianity-is-not-leftwing

Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!

The power of God’s word!

Rescued from alcoholism

Taarik was trapped in a life of alcoholism. Every day was chaos for him and his family, who live in India’s northern Uttar Pradesh state.

Local unrest, and an atmosphere in which the Christian community has been facing increasing persecution, took its toll.

But then Taarik met a pastor from a church supported by Release International’s partner. The pastor offered him a Bible and shared afresh with him the good news of Jesus Christ.

Taarik began attending the church fellowship, met with the pastor regularly—and kept reading the Bible! Eventually, the Lord changed his heart. He confessed his sins, quit drinking and began a new, loving relationship with the Lord Jesus—even though he lives with the threat of persecution. Christians in his village were amazed at the transformation.

In India the persecution of Christians is growing. God’s word is a source of strength, encouragement—and transformation. Release International is pleased to continue resourcing our partner in India with Bibles in local languages.

Some Say Jesus Never Claimed To Be The Son of God, Well ... Forgiving Sins Could Only Happen By God.

 48) Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

49) The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

50) Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” Luke 7.

Tremendous But ...

Victory Christian Center leads 700 inmates in worship, baptism during unprecedented prison outreach.

More than 700 inmates and prison staff gathered last week at the John H. Lilley Correctional Center in Boley, Oklahoma, for an outreach event led by Victory Christian Center, one of Tulsa’s largest churches.

Watch | Victory Family Church

Organized by Pastor Paul Daugherty and a team of 32 volunteers, the outreach included worship, preaching, baptisms, and the distribution of hot meals, Bibles and Christian books. According to the church, 41 individuals were baptized and more than 400 men made professions of faith."Today was a blessing beyond words," the church shared on Instagram following the event. "We were welcomed into an Oklahoma men’s prison to share the hope of Jesus! God moved powerfully through salvations, baptisms, and life-changing moments of connection. His LOVE truly knows no walls or limits."    Blogger: this is awesome BUT there is one mega point which needs to be fully grasped by all rejoicing believers.A fortnight ago, I was talking to a current, longstanding prison chaplain of my acquaintance about this matter. He told me that a grand total of 5% of these apparent conversions and statements of faith are actually real in his prison.(Many prisoners believe that a display of faith helps the authorities to look kindly on them where release dates are concerned.)These displays of faith usually end at the same time as their sentence is completed.
Please pray earnestly for those who 'play the system' and for the actual Christians who try to make themselves a new life 'on the outside'.

Polar Bears - We Were Sold A Pup!

An inconvenient truth for climate zealots: polar bears are thriving

Ice-cap scaremongers predicted a grizzly end for the Arctic predators but they are bouncing back

Well, well, well. How inconvenient. Exactly 20 years after climate change was catapulted to the top of the political agenda, the poster creature of the crisis – the polar bear – appears to be doing remarkably well.

Had all the prophecies of plague and pestilence played out as the most pessimistic “experts” expected, by now these magnificent creatures would literally be on their last legs. They would be skinny and starving and stranded on ice caps as fragile as the top of a crème brûlée.

They would be so exhausted by endless swimming in search of hunting platforms they’d be too weak to reproduce. But guess what? It turns out that Charles Darwin was right. As their habitat changes, the bears are adapting, and bouncing back. How awkward for all those eco warriors who still think the world is about to end.

It is two decades since Al Gore transformed global warming from a scientific thesis into a global political crusade with the release of An Inconvenient Truth. His seminal documentary marked the beginning of the mass hysteria about climate change that reshaped the global economy and united a generation of policy makers in the quest to avoid apocalypse.

This was the start of the net zero madness that still rages to this day. According to Gore’s most alarming predictions, changing weather patterns linked to the burning of fossil fuels would displace hundreds of millions of people, scorching farmland and flooding entire cities. As for plants and animals, those on the frontline could be completely wiped out. Polar bears quickly came to symbolise the crisis. DT.

A Further Abomination.

The new Sentencing Act will scrap most jail terms of under 12 months and allow most criminals to be freed after serving just 30 per cent of their sentence.

Blogger: please remember that the majority will have already had a 33% reduction in their original sentence starting point. This comes from a so-called 'timely guilty plea!'
