A plan to broaden out the definition of misogyny to include ‘men who correct women’ will only appeal to the very worst Left-wing feminists.

If you’re the kind of woman who finds “being corrected” by a man as proof of “misogynistic behaviour”, the Green Party may be the place for you.

According to an internal 53-page report – leaked to The Telegraph – party bosses are seriously considering a proposal to broaden out the Greens’ definition of misogyny.

And when I say “broaden out”, I mean open up what many can agree has already become a pretty elastic term, so that it encompasses, well, almost anything you choose to throw at it. Male interjections? Male comments generally? Actually, shall we just go with maleness as a whole?

Maleness equals misogyny – because everyone loves a bit of alliteration.

I’m being flippant, but the reality is almost as farcical. Amongst details on the party’s policies on transgender and LGBT rights is a section on “Guidance on Identifying Misogyny and Sexism”. According to the report, the Green Party Council was “very close” to adding a document of this name to its ethics framework.

“This document lists ‘being corrected’ as one example,” warn the Greens’ own lawyers, “of how women experience ‘misogynistic’ behaviour – an example so broad that it is liable to justify any disagreement between a man and a woman as a sanctionable disciplinary offence.” DT.

Had This Killer Been Hanged - How Could He Possibly Have Then Murdered This Child?

Alfie Hallett, 13, who was killed by his mother's former boyfriend, according to reports

Alfie Hallett, 13, was killed by his mother’s former boyfriend, according to reports.

A convicted murderer stabbed a British teenager to death and attacked his mother before turning the knife on himself and blowing up their home in Portugal.

Alfie Hallett, 13, is thought to have been killed by his mother’s former boyfriend at the property in Casais, in the Tomar region, on Tuesday.

The man, named by police sources as 43-year-old Goncalo Carvalho, tied up and stabbed Alfie’s 43-year-old mother, who is also believed to be British, before barricading himself in the house and attacking the boy.

Portugal’s Polícia Judiciaria force is understood to be working on the theory that Carvalho used the knife with which he killed the teenager to end his own life, shortly after causing a gas leak which led to the blast.

Alfie’s mother, who had been beaten and bound by her hands and feet, managed to escape and raise the alarm with her neighbours before being taken to hospital.

Nigel Farage’s general election spending will not be investigated by the elections watchdog, it was confirmed.

Labour had called on the Electoral Commission to look into the Reform UK leader's spending in his constituency, alleging that an overspend could have breached electoral law.

Mr Farage’s campaign had been accused of falsely reporting election expenses during his bid to become an MP in Clacton at the 2024 General Election. Mirror.

Threats to our fundamental freedoms are mounting, but we are doing something about it.

Our Amicus membership programme was born out of the origin of the word ‘Amicus.’ It comes from the Latin word for ‘friend’, and in the legal world in which we at ADF UK operate as a ministry, an ‘Amicus curiae’ is a friend of the court permitted to assist with a case.

By joining our Amicus Team, we’re inviting you to become a friend of our ministry and, crucially, a friend to those who are being punished and persecuted for their faith.

People like Päivi Räsänen, a member of parliament and devoted grandmother from Finland, criminally charged with “hate speech” for voicing her deeply held beliefs on the Christian view of marriage and sexuality.

Or Adam Smith-Connor, a father and army veteran from the United Kingdom, criminally convicted for praying in silence on a public street near an abortion facility.

Or Rodrigo Iván Cortés, a former Mexican congressman, punished under the law after speaking out in defence of biological reality — the fact that we are male and female.

Or Nada and Hamouda from Sudan, who had their marriage struck down by a Sharia court and faced punishment of 100 lashes and threats to their lives, simply because they converted to Christianity.

Or Shagufta and Shafqat from Pakistan, a Christian couple who languished on death row for seven years, convicted for allegedly sending a blasphemous text message, even though they can neither read nor write.

We exist because courageous clients like Adam, Nada, et al. exist.

Members of our Amicus Team further expand our advocacy efforts, building a world where all our fundamental freedoms are cherished.

Together, we stand up for these freedoms at major international institutions, in national courtrooms, and law-making bodies around the world.

By jumping aboard, you will become an integral part of our mission to advance the God-given right to live and speak the truth.

And when you join the Amicus Team, you will receive a welcome pack, complete with your membership card, personal letter, and introductory gift.

You’ll also gain exclusive insight into our work through Amicus newsletters, videos from our legal advocates, and access to webinars with our leadership team.

And you’ll be the first to know about our established and new resources.

Please be assured that your steadfast support enables us to continue our advocacy efforts to protect free speech here in the UK and worldwide.

Merry Christmas, and God bless you.
