As a post-Christian nation, it would be interesting to know just what percentage of the population even knows what the Christian teaching is on the issue of salvation. I suspect that it would be well under 20%.Many would state erroneously that it was achieved by "being a good person."
Some would state that it is all about your "good deeds outweighing the bad."
Neither of course, is correct. The only people who go to Heaven are the 'forgiven'; those who repent and accept Christ's sacrifice as being for them.
