I look out of the window in 'flaming June' on yet another cold, dank day. This one actually comes with heavy downpours, lightning and thunderclaps. The weather has been appalling this summer with occasional breaks.Let us think back just a month or so when the professional meteorologists predicted a 'barbecue summer'.
Even if there is an extended hot spell from this point, it will barely justify the earlier claims.
If these people cannot get the weather right a few short weeks ahead, what chance is there that they are right in their longterm, global warming assertions?
