This Blog has long supported the wonderful Frank Field as the only trustworthy person in the Labour Party.I am just beginning to wonder whether similar accolades might be due to Ian Duncan-Smith. Amongst the tories, he is the one who has consistenly spoken most sense since the inception of the new government.
Perhaps we missed a real opportunity. Perhaps he should have remained as Conservative leader.
