Tea Party-nomics.

"50% of the population cannot carry the burden for the other 50%."
"If we (the income tax payers) were to be taxed at 100%, it still would not be enough for it" (Funding 'big' government.)
"Progressivism is - statism - is socialism."

I was in Sonora, California last year and spoke at length to a lady who was a very keen supporter of The Tea party.
What struck me was the fact that Americans are not prepared to be politically downtrodden like the people in this nation who do not even bother to properly punish arrogant politicians at the ballot box.
There is some 'jingoism' in the T.P. movement which I do not really care for but can hardly be described as rampant nationalism.

Not entirely the kind of movement I would want to see here - too much overblown rhetoric and rabble-rousing for my liking but all I seek is a limit on the LibLabCons/Greens.
America's evangelical Christians are flocking to support the Tea Party - but then, Americans have always taken the Scriptures more seriously than we do in the UK.

The Tea Party had significant success in the US mid term elections.

Hypocritical!
