Well done to Paul Nuttall, the excellent UKIP candidate who came a good fourth in the Oldham by-election. He took 6% and was way ahead of the crumbling BNP and the Greens were loadsavotes behind that!
It is hard to see how UKIP can overcome the inherent unfairnesses of FPTP - and the proposed AV system of PR has NOTHING to offer to voting justice whatsoever.
