Some Reflections on The Charlie Gilmour Situation.

Dave Gilmour's adopted son is in the public eye - as well as court - for appalling behaviour in  public, whether or not he is actually convicted on specifics.
1) Why is his case any more newsworthy than that of any other social dreg?
2) Will Girton College be kicking him out for the damage to their reputation and out of a sense of moral rectitude?
3) Why has it taken so long to get this obnoxious, monied, privileged leftie to face a court? - Why was it not 'fast-tracked' to the next morning as always used to be the case? (Apologies for the current jargon!) - In the case of a 'not guilty' plea - why not a week to trial? - This is no high profile murder case.

Justice delayed is justice denied - for all concerned.
