Pol Pot, Stalin, Mao, Hitler - all admirers of Darwin - but Darwinism must NOT be blamed for their excesses? - Huh?
The real difference, of course, is that Christianity does not agree with wholesale butchery - but darwinists accept, in theory at least, a 'dog-eat-dog', soulless universe.
As brutality, rape, bullying and murder are all an integral part of their 'credo' of 'the survival of the fittest' - by extrapolating from this - logically these negatives MUST be 'good' if they are 'good for the species in its development'.
And unless, rather dubiously, you see 'civilisation' as a part of that 'ongoing' process - which again, logic dictates that it cannot really be - murder, rape et al must be evolutionary positives.
Indeed, any civilised society which protects the weak is, by definition, weakening the species. By this logic, only eugenics can lead a society into its 'brave new world'.Remove the spiritual dimension - and note well the damage which is done by this cosily presented - but essentially raw philosophy.
Force them into a corner and every rabid evolutionary scientist has to admit that 'evolution is not merely morally neutral - but morally empty.'
