Israel: Benjamin Netanyahu 'ready to negotiate borders with Palestine'. Good!
The Israelis may have lost some of the moral high ground in recent years. Many commentators: resent 'the wall'; do not think that the Israelis should be allowed to defend themselves; have forgotten the numbers of times this legitimate nation has been treacherously attacked and think that it is 'okay' for bombs to be planted and rocket attacks to be lanched against them.
We are no longer accustomed to democratic countries refusing to pander to terror which Israel will not.
Even so, a number of their actions have been provocative, in particular, the allowing of Israeli settlements on land which is clearly 'disputed'.
