Another Judge Wetter Than A Rainstorm?

A man was jailed for at least six years on Wednesday for raping a young woman who had been thrown off her last bus home because she was 20p short of the fare.
Joseph Moran, 19, was branded a "pathological liar" by the judge who sentenced him at Nottingham Crown Court for the brutal rape of the 23-year-old student.
Judge James Sampson told Moran his defence that he had stumbled across the victim and helped her on the night of the attack was reprehensible. (Huffington Post.)

This sentence is wholly inappropriate. This is the very worst kind of rape - and sorry all you misguided feminists - there are degrees or seriousness.

This person should not be leaving prison for at least 15 years - and probably 20. Society is ill-served by such leniency.
