YET another major misjudgment by the BBC. Contrast the coverage of the
installation of the new Archbishop of Canterbury, the spiritual leader of the
Church of England, with the coverage given to the new Pope.
The Archbishop’s installation was relegated to fourth position in the BBC
news at 6pm, in contrast to the lavish coverage over several days when the new
Pope was chosen. Hands up those who want to see the BBC privatised? That should
sort them out a bit.
