Triffid Alert?

At its brand new HQ, the BBC has apparently banned workers from putting plants near their desks.
I must agree wholeheartedly with this intelligent piece of thinking. It is of course, a Health & Safety issue.
It is more than possible that a wet-behind-the-ears employee might inadvertently introduce some sort of triffid into the workplace.
Clearly, the Beeb has been thinking ahead in its praiseworthy efforts to protect  its staff.
