Cameron's Dilemma.

Our 'Dave' decided to take the tories to the centre left as he believed that he would be able to sway voters in marginal constituencies which seemingly had liberal left tendencies.
Did this tactic succeed? - Well, it is certainly debatable when, after one of the worst Labour governments of all time, you still fail to win an overall majority!
'Dave' kept some of his traditional voters on board as they firmly believed that he would at least return to the political centre at some later date. When he did not - they felt betrayed and may well now be lost forever.
What these voters had failed to take into account was that 'Dave' is not, and never has been, a conservative.
So now, he is twittering desperately about an EU referendum and controlling immigration.
TOO LITTLE - TOO LATE and besides - can you be trusted to deliver, 'Dave'? Especially when shackled to the hapless Cleggites?

Birdie.
