Tory Defections?

If I were a Conservative MP today - and by that I mean, not a pinko cameronite - I would be seriously considering a defection to Ukip if my majority were anything under 6,000.
First, I would be moving to a party which is seriously pragmatic.
Secondly, I would be moving to a party which is considerably more democratic than the one I was leaving.
Thirdly, my move would be to a party which is people-centred rather than ivory tower territory.
Fourthly, in 2015, there may well be a better chance of keeping my Westminster seat under a Ukip banner!
Moreover, it is not entirely unfeasable that this might be an intelligent course for several Labour members.
Lib Dems? - Probably not!
