Ukip Still On The Up & Up.

UKIP’s poll surge continues;
Cameron admits legislation on in/out EU referendum not possible in this Parliament.
A new YouGov/Sun poll puts the Labour party on 39%, the Conservatives on 29%, UKIP on a record-high 16% and the Lib Dems on 9%. The survey found that UKIP supporters think immigration, rather than Europe, is the most important issue facing the country. The Sun also reports on a separate poll showing that 53% of respondents think David Cameron will not be able to “wrestle key powers back from the EU”, but can only “win minor changes.” Meanwhile, in a letter to John Baron MP seen by the Telegraph, Cameron wrote, “This Government’s legislative programme is founded on the Coalition Agreement which did not include legislating in this Parliament for an in/out [EU] referendum.”  OE.

A Most Unpleasant Read.
