Why I Really Dislike What Passes For Christmas.

As a fourteen year old, I won a cup for public speaking. My topic was, 'Have we lost the spirit of Christmas?' The answer then was a giant 'yes'.
Today, the pap, the consumerism, false bonhomie, the greed hot-wired into children, the Godless Christmas cards and all the other rubbish sickens me. How many put themselves into debt in the name of the Saviour?
The Christmas morning communion at my church is my high point. I somehow manage to remember what Christmas is actually about. I NEED that service!
