– ...., Chris Grayling, the Justice Secretary, criticises the use of legal aid
to challenge the Government. Many such challenges have been possible because of
the Human Rights Act 1998, which has enabled numerous foreign criminals to
remain in the United Kingdom, where they are a danger to the public.
Mr
Grayling has had four years to repeal or amend this flawed piece of legislation
but has failed to, even though David Cameron while in opposition said that it
“had to go”.
