People would do well to grasp the fact that UKIP is neither for nor against homosexual marriage. The party simply supports the public as opposed to the political voice on moral issues. This may well work out considerably better for contemporary Christian believers in most cases - but does mean that Christians would lose out from time to time. That is one inevitable outcome of Direct Democracy.
