Sydney's Hostage Fiasco.

At least two innocent people  have died. The assurance that I need is that police marksmen never once had 'a clear shot'. If they did - then the innocent whose life was lost - their blood must be on the hands of the senior officers who did not authorise 'the kill'. Trying to get away with no deaths should never be an option in such situations. Save the innocent!
Furthermore, why had this lunatic been permitted bail?
