A number of recent articles have indicated that we are insufficiently armed to thwart any attack from Russia. There is and always has been a price to pay for the pretend 'peace dividend'. Weaken your armed forces and all you do is to become vulnerable. We must hope that NATO membership would save us because belonging to the EU certainly would not!
Perhaps the time to remind our hopeless politicians that the first job of government is the protection of its citizenry!
