Dr Palaniappan Rajmohan, one of two doctors who offered to perform an abortion based on the baby’s gender, could be ruled unfit to practise. Dr Rajmohan was filmed admitting that gender abortion is infanticide before agreeing to an abortion because the baby was a girl. The General Medical Council has now summoned him to a disciplinary hearing. Aisling Hubert brought a private prosecution against Dr Rajmohan but the CPS took over the case and derailed it.
