BBC programme explores life in the womb.

A BBC documentary broadcast this week demonstrates the beauty of the growth of human beings in the womb. Countdown to Life: The Extraordinary Making of You is the first in a series of three programmes and is still available via the BBC iPlayer. It details the first eight weeks of life in the womb, including the moment, at five weeks, that the heart begins to beat. The next instalment will be broadcast on Monday.
