Am Changing My Mind On Badger Culls.

The arguments for culling badgers, in order to prevent the spread of bovine tuberculosis, have been largely non-proven, in my humble opinion, and consequently, I have opposed such action. Two new factors have entered the debating arena: the rapacious pillaging of the nests of birds, combined with the near eradication of hedgehog populations where badgers are prevalent has, for me, tilted the balance in favour of carefully managed culling.
