I have just tearfully observed the annual two minute
silence and watched the wreath-laying broadcast from the Cenotaph.
Coming from a heavily military family with war dead
and covering four generations - I felt that the entire process was tragically
devalued.
I have been left bitter and angry that the party which
won the EU elections and took 4 million votes in the General Election - the
third highest number - was wickedly excluded from
participation.
Cameron clearly had the power to remedy this
abomination. To his eternal shame, he again chose to lean on outdated
rules from what appears to have been the basest of political
motives.
My disgust is boundless.
