Fifty Years Since Abolition of The Death Penalty.

It is impossible to know just how many innocent lives this injustice has cost in England & Wales as a loss of deterrent effect kicked in, but with the substantial rise in homicide rates, a conservative estimate would be between 15,000 and 20,000.
