Costa Coffee.

Spanish Cortado.
When I was in Spain recently, wherever we went, the coffee was excellent. Only in the more expensive places did it cost as much as a pound - in most places, 70 pence was the norm. For this you could have black, white or a muddy brown cortado (My black coffee, student days are now a distant memory.) The white coffee was always ranging between good and excellent but the cortados ranged from excellent to exquisite.
Yesterday, for 'a cortado', I paid £1-99 in Costa Coffee for something that simply was not in the same league!
