UK consumers are paying 20% higher electricity bills AND face a bigger risk of power cuts, due to EU meddling.

The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) claims that meddling in the market by Brussels over the past ten years has created endless red tape and landed the UK with huge costs for reducing carbon emissions. It has also resulted in less competition, the think tank said. Mail.
