Puzzling.

In these Godless days, when not many have learned anything at all about the Bible - how few people find God. Not too much of a surprise.

In days gone by, when people had to study the Scriptures - a great many did find God. Odd, innit? There must have been something there for all those intelligent folks to find who went on to become believers.

Conclusion: if people spend time on The Bible and struggle to find truth - they will find it. It is so often only the ignorant (literal usage) who fail to discover Him.
