Port Legislation.

Yesterday, MEPs voted through legislation which will severely damage the UK’s thriving ports industry. UK politicians couldn’t prevent eurocrats giving the go-ahead for laws which will add multiple layers of bureaucracy and jeopardise the prosperity of UK ports which attract £400 million of investment per year. This is yet another clear example of the lack of control we have over our own laws and our own economy. UK politicians in Brussels are unable to influence decisions which affect our key industries. This harms jobs, growth and investment. After we Vote Leave we can take back control of our own laws and create policies which support business, enterprise and entrepreneurship.
