Post-Brexit Effect ...

... there is a property boom. Yes, I know that this is always an excellent indicator of a sound economy but I do always still feel sorry for those poor souls who cannot get onto the housing ladder. 
When supply is outstripped by demand (huge immigration being the largest single factor) house prices, in any scenario, will rise to beyond the reach of ordinary people. 
So great has the immigration to the UK been, that if there is no further net migration, it will still take decades of new house-building to cover the most desperate of our needs.
Open doors is a policy with dire social consequences.
