Turkish Instability: It Almost Gets Tiresome Being Right So Often.

As this Blog has never ceased to point out - Turkey is/was a totally unsuitable candidate for EU membership. This is one more reason why the Brexit Campaign was so successful.
The only ordinary people I have met who voted for Remain fall into two categories:
1) They did not/do not understand what the EU is and how it works.
2) They were terrified into voting by lies, deceits and propaganda.
There really is no middle ground. So who were the genuine Remainers? - Naturally, it was the we-know-what-is-best-for-you brigade. They did see the deficiencies in the EU but chose to consider these to be largely irrelevant. After all, who really cares about sovereignty and democracy - not them, that's for sure!
