To any future, neutral alien visiting this planet without anything on his/her/its agenda other than assessing the reality of life on this planet - one
great source of puzzlement would be the relationship between the political,
liberal left and Islam.
These are two huge groups which apparently, have nothing whatsoever
in common yet the former supports the latter at every possible opportunity -
especially if this provides an attempt to take potshots at the Christian
Faith.
I have outlined the details of this lack of congruence on numerous
previous occasions on this Blog so I shall not burden you again with the
seemingly endless lists of discrepancies previously noted.
The point of this brief article is more to exonerate Moslems from
the wildest, political insanities committed in their name.
As Christmas approaches, once again we shall be noisily assailed
by multitudes of terminally simple leftists trying to 'gut Christmas' in order
to 'avoid upsetting Moslems'.
In my rather broad experience of working with minority (?)
religions, I have never found offence being taken in the way described by the
gauchistes. Quite the contrary, if truth be told.
There is little wonder that so many people become angered and embittered
when they see other religions - especially Islam - apparently being the tail
wagging the dog.
In practice, this is almost universally division caused by a
political tendency rather than by the religionists themselves.
As usual, wherever they can be found, the left leaves nothing but
damage and devastation in their wake.
