Instead we shall use one of those firms which gets you cremated for under a grand, and when the urn is ready, we shall have a full memorial service instead. (My own is already completely planned.)
The ripoff prices being charged today by undertakers are an absolute disgrace - I did check out prices for a basic funeral at several local undertakers and I was disgusted!
This will mean that, for each of us, there will be a significant amount of the savings to be used on far worthier causes. So much better than lining the pockets of ripoff merchants!
