The trouble with eugenics is that it offers a wondrous prize at the
end of the tunnel: a human race from which hosts of ailments have been ditched
forever; stronger; more intelligent; more durable. (Not at all unlike selective breeding in dogs and cattle.)
This writer believes that the minimum of three generations (probably) needed
to achieve this goal have to suffer unreasonably and it is clearly not part of
God's plan for our planet.
