‘Eurocrats look after THEMSELVES’ John Cleese savages Brussels and praises Brexit vote

COMEDY icon John Cleese has backed Brexit saying he does not want to see Britain ruled by Eurocrats.

He said: “I don’t want to be run by a bunch of European bureaucrats because they always look after themselves first.

“It will be five years before we know if it was a good thing or a bad thing, or if it will be a hard of soft exit.”

Mr Cleese declared his support for Brexit last year when he told the Radio Times he was “delighted” the bleak prophecies of post-Brexit Britain had failed to materialise.
