Salaries up: Job vacancies up. Brexit begins to work for the people of the UK.
Following the release of a report by the Recruitment and
Employment Confederation Christopher Mills the UKIP Business spokesman said that
he was "delighted to see the benefits of Brexit begin to spread, as wages start
to rise across the economy, exceeding inflation".
The report stated, "Growth of permanent starting salaries accelerated for the fourth month running in August. Notably, it was the quickest rate of pay inflation seen since October 2015. Temp pay also increased at a faster pace, rising at the steepest rate for 16 months in August."
Mr Mills said, "This is good for employees across all sectors, but particularly for those on lower wages as there has been a steep increase in staff appointments and vacancies. This is a direct result of a slowing in immigration and will result in better conditions for British employees.
