Brexit Letter To Yorkshire Post.

Sir,
The politicians were told by the people two and a half years ago to deliver Brexit. They were not asked to deliver a wholly redefined 'soft Brexit'; they were not exhorted to fail to prepare for a 'no deal scenario'; they were not tasked to be limp and pathetic in negotiations; they were not bidden to 'adjust matters so as to be closer to their own philosophies'; they were not told to play puerile, party political games. Delivering Brexit became the bounden duty of every elected member.
I have seldom been more disgusted by our vile, self-serving political class. Many are spitting in the face of the voters by trying to ensure that their 'EU-ruling-the-UK sacred cow' is not led to the slaughter. Shame on them all!
Worse even than these are the ones who, unbelievably, are actually attempting to ensure that we do not achieve any sort of good outcome. Seemingly, they want the UK to fail to gain any of the countless trade deals offered from across the globe in late June 2016 so that they can agitate to crawl back into the EU at some unspecified later date.
Time and again, my jaw has dropped when it is clear that elected members seem to be working hand-in-glove with the best interests of Brussels and not those of our own people.
Those who voted remain must accept that they lost just the same as a PM must quit once the nation has voted him/her out of office. There can be no excuses; no special pleading; no exceptions.

Tory Destruction Beckons.
