Heavenly Rewards.

Many atheists fervently believe that true Christians are motivated by the prospect of achieving 'rewards' after death or of fear of Hell.
For reasons I cannot grasp, 'hellfire sermons' are as rare as hens' teeth, today.
We preach 'salvation'. From what, precisely?

A huge proportion of the believers I know are such because:
a) They want truth.
b) A daily relationship with God the Son is on offer.
c) They have met, encountered and experienced God's love and grace.

Shortage of religious studies teachers 'worsening' despite rising demand.

Provision of religious education has sometimes been described as a "postcode lottery".
