More than 12 police officers a WEEK are being attacked while monitoring Britain's transport networks with 2,000 assaults over the last three years, new figures reveal.
There were 1,939 reported assaults against British Transport Police (BTP) officers in the three years to October 2018, resulting in more than 230 injuries, Freedom of Information requests have shown. Mail.
