Dear Friends,
As another deadline for Britain to leave the EU comes and goes, the only thing
which is clear is that the nation's politicians are in turmoil. There are some
things however that they are increasingly unanimous about, and one of the most
significant is that children should be taught that immorality is good, whilst
to question it is evil (Isa. 5:20).
A week ago an article I have written on this theme was published on the
Prophecy Today website:
More Significant than Brexit
I have also now also included it on my own website, from where printable and
large print versions are also available:
In this I highlight that on March 27th MPs voted 538 in favour of the new RSE
guidelines, with just 21 objecting to them. At the bottom of the Prophecy Today
article there is a note to say that the House of Lords has agreed to debate
them, instead of simply formally approving them. That debate has now been fixed
for Wednesday 24 April. Many Christians hoped that Peers would block Cameron's
"Equal Marriage" legislation but they didn't; we can only ask The LORD that he
would be gracious towards the nation's children and somehow convince their
Lordships to stand against the political tide and vote for righteousness on
this occasion. If they don't, then we really do need to take to heart what this
sign of the times in which we live is warning Christians about.
In the last few days I have also added to my website a recording of a short
talk I recently gave on the Greatest Commandment. You can listen to it here:

Finally, I was able to interview one-time Queen's Chaplain Gavin Ashenden
earlier in the year about his understanding of current events. In particular we
discussed the direction in which secularism is now taking the West, and its
continued failure to understand authentic Islamic teaching. The interview was
published in two parts by Prophecy Today and if you have not already seen it, I
encourage you to read it.

If you do find an opportunity to read or listen to any of the above, I hope you
find the material helpful. Comments and questions are welcome, as always.
Finally, please do pass on the link to anyone you think might be interested,
and if you know of someone who would like to receive future alerts directly,
please ask them to email me at randall@amen.org.uk.
