Depressed.

What have: all the Greens; all of the Lib Dems; most of Labour, all the SNP and a significant swathe of elected Tories got in common?
- They have all decided to spit in the face of democracy.
They were told by the people to take us out of the EU.
They were not tasked with: adding bells and whistles; watering this straightforward task down; pretending they were so doing 'to make better' what they saw as a disaster.

Before the last General Election 84% of MPs gave commitments to DELIVER BREXIT.

After three and a quarter years of duplicity, deviousness and lowlife shenanigans - this simple duty has been wholly wrecked by every means at their disposal. I am sickened by them and their rank dishonesty presented as being 'in the best interests of the UK'.

There was much talk yesterday, about a Brexit so diluted that we would remain in the thrice cursed Customs Union which is the root cause of all our economic problems and would PREVENT us making our own worldwide trade deals.

When we joined this noxious body in 1973 - it had 39% of all world trade with nine members. Today, with twenty eight members, it has 15% of world trade - and falling.
You do not hitch your wagon to a dying horse. This was recognised by the electorate but not by the sickening, 'we know best', political elite.
A simple Brexit offered us global opportunities on a massive scale but our politicians did not want that and were determined that we should not have them. So many have proved fundamentally treasonous in their dealings with voters.
I cannot recall any time when I have felt more depressed about the future of this nation.
It is certainly now time to pray for the 'no deal' scenario to be enacted - something which looks increasingly unlikely.

The only up side I can see is that the very worst of the liberal tories have been purged from that party. Maybe, just maybe, there is the possibility of a right of centre party appearing in this nation.
