Read the Gospels without any preconceived ideas and you will end up with a picture of the real Jesus: a turner of tables; one who actually frightened His disciples; an attacker of religious hypocrisy; one who 'threatened with millstones'; warned of hell. He was all of this and more.
This same man: healed the sick; showed compassion to the spiritually stunted and then died that Mankind might have life eternal if they would only follow Him and His precepts.
This is not the limp, wet, feeble, all-tolerating Jesus that so many want to turn into their liberal left icon.
Seriously. Read the Gospels with your blinkers off.
