A superb 152 for Jos Buttler and a mighty 267 for Zak Crawley put England into the driving seat and they were able to declare for an humongous total of 583 for 8.
The partnership between the two men realised an incredible score of 359 - the all time best ever fifth wicket partnership in all of England's batting history.
It got even better after the declaration as the ageing Jimmy Anderson skittled the Pakistan top three! 
It seems that only the weather can save Pakistan now. The forecast for Tuesday might mean rain all day and key time may be taken out of England's victory charge.
Two days with a follow-on and 17 wickets needed - England will have to win in two days rather than three.
