Open Doors.

 Dear Friends,

You are helping Indian believers in crisis

Thank you for helping bring to life the wonderful truths of 2 Corinthians 4:8-9: "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." Indian Christians are struck down with both pandemic and persecution - but you are ensuring that they are not destroyed. Thank you so much.

YOU GAVE A NEW START TO VAANI FROM INDIA

Vaani (name changed) in India chose to follow Jesus after prayer led to her mother being healed. But Vaani's husband was furious, and frequently beat her for refusing to deny Christ. Scared for her daughters, Vaani left him. He continued to stalk and taunt her.

But your support means local Open Doors partners have helped Vaani set up a clothing business - so she can be independent.

THANK YOU FOR STANDING FOR TRUTH - LET'S KEEP GOING

Thank you so much to those who invited your MP to hear about Christian persecution in India at the launch of Destructive Lies. You ensured that 38 MPs and representatives attended the briefing and heard about our Indian church family.

And let's keep going! We can keep sounding the alarm for our Indian brothers and sisters, asking the UK government to listen and act.

Here's how to #StandForTruthIndia

FROM 'CHIBOK GIRL' TO UNIVERSITY GRADUATE

Mary was a 'Chibok girl', abducted by Islamic militants Boko Haram in April 2014. More than 100 of the young women are still missing.

But Mary's courageous faith has helped her overcome the ordeal - and now she has graduated with a degree in accounting.

"God did it! He did the unthinkable and unbelievable," says her father.
