I have always rated the Daily Star as the bottom 'newspaper' in the UK. (Obviously, I do not include The Morning Star - as comics should not be allowed to compete.)
It is now my belief that The Daily Mirror has pipped The Daily Star for the bottom slot.
By comparison, The Sun almost looks like a proper newspaper.
