Excellent News.


The North Carolina General Assembly has overridden Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper's vetoes of House Bill 574 and House Bill 808. HB 574, known as the "Fairness in Women's Sports Act," prohibits biological males from competing in female sports, while HB 808 bans sex-change surgeries and hormone intervention drugs for trans-identified youth. The votes primarily fell along party lines, with two House Democrats joining Republicans to override Cooper's veto on HB 808. Read more.
