Forty years ago, Mrs Blogger and I used to have The Times delivered. Today, if you offered me free copies and free delivery, I would give you a polite 'no thanks.'
The Times is the newspaper of the specialist, wishy -washy conservatives. This morning, I was horrified to read a piece of weak drivel from William Hague followed by oh so many pieces which would have fitted ever so neatly into the Sun or The Mirror.
A paper without substance. The single upside was the pleasure in seeing that Melanie Phillips writes for them.
