DECEMBER 2024 Dear Friends & Partners, Warm greetings from cold Serbia. We wish you a Blessed Christmas and a very happy, healthy, fruitful and prosperous New Year 2025.  “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Rom. 15:13  We appreciate you, your friendship and your partnership in the Gospel very much. Thank you for all your kindness, generosity and love. United Kingdom It was wonderful to meet many of you personally and minister in your churches in Great Britain in September. There is nothing better than meeting each other face to face, talking, fellowshipping, having coffee and a meal together. Those moments are precious and we do cherish them. Lidija In September, Lidija Vitakic started the second year of Missio Dei AOG Bible College in Manchester. It is a degree course in Theology and Christian Leadership, which lasts for three years in total. All the cost of her training, tuition fees, and living costs we need to finance ourselves, as Lidija doesn’t have access to student’s loans. It’s a great need, but it is also a great opportunity to invest into training of a young person who is coming back to the mission field of central Serbia, after she finishes her theological studies.  Would you be willing to invest into raising up a new generation? We need 40 individuals to support Lidija’s training with £25 per month. So far we have 20 people who have partnered with us to regularly support her and we thank each one of you. Now, we need 20 more people. Please prayerfully consider being one of them. In October Lidija participated at the 3D Missions Conference in Bolton and led worship in Serbian in one of the sessions. Serbian national Pentecostal Conference We make an impact on central Serbia through preaching the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, discipleship and leadership training on the premises of our local church Lighthouse Church in Kraljevo, online using internet, in people’s houses in other places where we have believers, in coffee shops, on the streets, in schools and nursery, and helping the poor and needy. We make an impact on our whole country of Serbia through Conferences. In April we organised our very own She Believes Women’s Conference in our church, and in November our church in Kraljevo was the host of the national Pentecostal Conference of Serbia. We had 170 pastors and leaders from the north to the south of Serbia and it was amazing. We had top class calibre speakers – Pastor Kirk McAtear from Trinity Birmingham, Bishop Marek Kaminski, chairman of Pentecostal European Fellowship, from Poland, Mojmir Kalus, from International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, and Pastor Stephen Prosser from Rotherham and 3D Missions GB. In school After Conference we had outreach in a local school in Kraljevo. First Kirk McAtear presented to the pupils Birmingham City FC and what does it mean to be the chaplain of that football club in England, then Marek Kaminski taught about the culture Poland, and at the end we gave to all of them Birmingham City football shirts as a present. The children were so happy and the teachers, too. Slovenia In October we visited Ljubljana and met with Pastor Chris Scobie and his wife Sabina and saw their building project. We ministered for the weekend in Maribor at their church camp, and on Sunday we preached in their main service and prayed for people. We also had the opportunity to meet some of the believers in their homes, to speak and pray for them. It was a joy for us to spend time with Pastor Srecko and Milena Krajnc. Hungary We travelled to Budapest in October where Sara was invited to be the main speaker at the Hungarian national Women’s Conference. It was amazing with 500 women who came from all over Hungary and participated. Eszter Pinter was a great host and leader of the Conference. We had a wonderful time with Pastor Imre and Eszter Pinter and their family. On Sunday, they took us to minister in Szekesfehervar church led by Pastor Istvan Simon. LOGM Special Offering Day - Sunday 16th February 2025 We would like to propose to you a Special Offering Day on Sunday 16th February 2025 for Light of the Gospel Ministries in your churches and for the individuals, so that we can build and advance the Kingdom of God in Serbia and Balkan region. We propose 16th February because 15th February is the Serbian Statehood Day. Please save this date in your diaries.  We would like to encourage churches to participate by taking a special offering for LOGM on that Sunday and for individuals to donate what they can - £10, £20, £50… Your partnership with us in this way will help us enormously.
